Busy, busy, busy...

Ya know, it never fails, often times I have received pre-invitations to go hang out with friends or family, only to be left waiting in the dark for the actual event to occur. Some would suggest that perhaps, I'm just not that likable of a person, but c'mon, even my own family? The truth as I see it, is that each and every one of us are so busy, so caught up in the realities of life that we truly don't take the necessary time to enjoy all that God is given us, namely people! I have always been a big supporter in the balancing concept, as it provides some sort of measuring stick to give the relationships in our lives a fair share of our time. I am not suggesting that the concept of work, responsibility, family and other events don't exist, but that we should engage in a weekly or monthly reflection of just how much madness we allow in. I believe it's important to take inventory and at the very least, make the attempt in establishing a balance, in all areas of our life.
